CSA, as an FAA Approved Part 141 Flight School, can get you from zero experience to Commercial Pilot Certification in 189 hours while at other part 61 flight schools the FAA requires their students to have 250 hours of flight time prior to taking the Commercial Pilot Certification check ride. That is over 60 hours savings of airplane rental fees.

Traditional Private Pilot Ground School course runs 13 weeks and meets on Saturdays. Traditional Instrument Ground School course runs 7 weeks and meets two nights per week. Cost is anywhere from $48,000 – $65,000 depending on speed of progressing thought the courses and ability of a student. Below is the suggested route but be aware that there are other avenues available with guidance.

AATD:  Redbird AATD Single & Multi, G1000 & G430 Avionics,  $80 per hour.

CommSim:  ATC Trainer,  $45 per hour and $120 with instructor.

Flight Instruction:  CFI/CFII/MEI,  $75 per hour.
